Known as bireum in Korean, tampala or tandaljo in India, Joseph’s coat, and calalloo in parts of the Caribbean. Native to the Americas. This strain has a beautiful neon-magenta hue.
Cuisine: Often stir-fried or steamed in East Asia, or used in stews in parts of Africa. Can also be used raw as a colorful, earthy finish to any dish or salad.
Mixology: An excellent garnish to compliment earthy cocktails.
